ABOUT ORCA HQ

Built by practitioners, for practitioners.

ORCA HQ was born from a real consulting firm that faced the exact problem it solves. Not a lab experiment. Proven in production. Built in the Scottish Highlands.

THE ORIGIN

From consulting floor to intelligence platform.

One consulting firm. One recurring problem. A platform that now serves every organisation that runs on expertise.

ORCA started inside a consulting practice. The founder — a hands-on delivery lead — watched the same problems repeat across engagements: context rebuilt from scratch, lessons lost between teams, expertise locked in individual heads. Every new project started from zero.

The first version of ORCA was built to solve that specific problem: capture what the team learned, grade how much to trust it, and return it to whoever needed it next. It worked. Within weeks, the system was surfacing connections that senior partners hadn't made.

In March 2026, ORCA HQ was established as an independent entity — its own Azure tenancy, its own governance, its own intellectual property. The platform that was built to serve one consulting team is now available to every organisation that runs on expertise.

OUR BELIEF

Intelligence that compounds.

We believe most organisations are underutilised, not underperforming. The expertise exists — it's just trapped in inboxes, chat threads, and individual memory. ORCA is the infrastructure that frees it.

OUR VALUES

What we stand for.

01
Evidenced
Every claim is grounded. Every entry is confidence-classified. We don't guess and we don't hide uncertainty.
02
Governed
Governance is code, not policy. Write gates, PII gates, and constitutional rules are enforced in the architecture, not in a handbook.
03
Autonomous
The system polices itself. Heartbeat monitoring, adversarial auditing, and automated hygiene run continuously without human intervention.
04
Compounding
Week 1 is the worst it will ever be. Every entry, every query, every correction makes the system smarter. Intelligence that compounds.
ARCHITECTURE

Three architectural commitments.

01
MCP as the system abstraction
ORCA uses the Model Context Protocol — the open standard for AI connectivity. No vendor lock-in. If your tool supports MCP, ORCA connects to it.
Open standard
02
Heartbeat from day one
Autonomous health monitoring runs from the first deployment. The system watches itself before anyone asks it to.
Self-monitoring
03
Governance enforced in code
A code gate cannot be bypassed by any user or agent. Constitutional governance is not a setting that can be turned off.
Hard-gated
See it compound.

See what intelligence looks like.
